SPEC Concerts is excited to announce that pop/alternative artist Skylar Grey will headline the annual Fall Concert at World Cafe Live on Saturday, October 25th at 9PM.
Grey is a five-time GRAMMY nominee who has contributed her songwriting and vocal talents to global hits including "Love the Way You Lie," "I Need a Doctor," "Coming Home," and "Clarity," among countless others. In addition to collaborations with Eminem, David Guetta, Kaskade, and P. Diddy, Grey has most recently released a full-length solo record, Don't Look Down, that debuted at #8 on the Billboard charts last year.
Philadelphia-based indie rockers The Lawsuits will open the show. Dubbed the city's "Indie Band of the Year," The Lawsuits' jangly, infectious Americana has generated critical acclaim from Paste and Rolling Stone magazines and appearances alongside artists like The All-American Rejects and Frank Turner. The quintet released its groovy American Diamond Recordings debut, Tumbled, last month.
Tickets are $10 for Penn students and $30 for non-Penn students. Physical ticket sales will also begin on Locust Walk on Monday, 10/13, and will every weekday up until the concert, from 10AM to 4PM.
