Laverne Cox is a renowned actress most known for her role in the hit Netflix series "Orange is the New Black". As a transgender woman of color, Laverne is one of the most influential activist of the 21st century, and she looks forward to sharing her experience, knowledge, and time with all who join!
This evening with Laverne Cox will be a moderated discussion followed by a moderated audience Q & A.
Please be aware of the following ticket information:
1) Student tickets (Undergraduate and Graduate) are available for $5 (cash) on Locust Walk (in front of Arch) beginning Wednesday, March 13th at 11AM. Locust Walk ticket purchases will be capped at 2 tickets.
2) A limited amount of student tickets and public tickets ($15) will be sold online starting the evening of February 27th (beginning at 9:30pm) as well as the afternoon of February 28th. Online ticket purchases will be capped at 2 tickets. Online ticket sales will then resume following spring break.
3) Bring your PennCard/student ID to the event, if you purchased a student ticket, as student ID's are checked at the door.
4) Contact us if you are interested in group ticket rates.
